Union for Reform Judaism created an event: May 18, 2011 - Food Matters Book Club Discussion

Location: Webinar

Time: Wednesday, May 18, 2011 3:00PM

In Food Matters, Mark Bittman suggests making small, relatively easy changes to our diet to improve our personal, economic and environmental health. Rabbi Michael Satz of Congregation Beth Israel, San Diego, CA will facilitate a discussion on Food Matters, Rabbi Hara Person, Director of the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) Press, will introduce The Sacred Table, the CCAR's new book of essays on creating a Jewish food ethic, and Rabbi Ariana Jaffe Silverman of Temple Kol Ami, West Bloomfield, MI will share thoughts on her essay on elevating ethical eating.
